This storm door design was made for a customer wanting more light in her
foyer but didn't want to go to the expense of buying a new entry door so she
purchased a storm door from Home Depot. We installed our custom leaded glass on
the inside of the glass storm door to match her leaded glass sidelights and transom
that we did several years ago.

Significance Of Birds
Birds are very common when it comes to decor, and we've created many windows that feature them, but did you know that different birds have different meanings?
Here is a short list of birds and what they symbolize (along with a few of our designs to accompany them!)
Blue Birds - Happiness
Sparrows - Companionship
Cardinals - Beauty
Peacocks - Vanity
Doves - Hope & Peace (No wonder these little guys are released at weddings!)
Herons - Grace
Roosters - Pride
Hummingbirds - Joy
Chickadees - Optimism

The Benefits of Skylights.
Skylights work wonders when it comes to cutting your electric costs. Rather than flicking on the unnatural yellow glow of the lamp beside you, a skylight can act as your light source when you're relaxing with your favorite book.
An electric venting skylight will function as a "passive air conditioner." Warm air is lifted up through the venting skylight, resulting in a cooling effect and fresh air residing in the home.
As homes are being built closer to one another, the balance between privacy and natural light has become an issue. 65% of homeowners desire light from above in their bathrooms where privacy is of major importance.
They provide natural light rather than producing earth-damaging emissions. This "going green" move can play a big role in the value of your home, as green homes require less maintenance and are more comfortable and attractive. Solar energy (sunlight!) also provides us with vitamin D, free of charge, which strengthens our immune systems. It can even fight off cancer cells.
Here is one our most recent skylight installations. The owner was very pleased with the design and quality of the work.

Beach House Windows
We are commissioned to do a set of three windows for a beach
house in the popular and sunny Corolla Light, North Carolina. These windows consist of a sidelight by the
front door, a master bath window, and a guest bedroom window. These windows can be seen as you approach the
front door, but in the home, cannot be seen at all. The owner wanted these as a series.
For the master bathroom, the scheme consists of high dunes,
an angel fish, and clouds settled against a bright, blue sky.
The sidelight is composed of dunes, a sea horse, sea grass,
and multiple seashells.

The Woman in Black
A couple renovating in North Carolina discovers us, and
they’re in search of an art deco design.
They have an interior door that leads to their study composed of clear
glass. Their wish was to keep the same
amount of light, but spice it up with some art glass to replace the panel. Artés art deco art caught their attention, of
which Diane had sent several images. Their
decision? A woman in black
silhouette. Diane did a rendering in
order to create the design in stained glass, and the owners couldn’t be more pleased.
